Position Summary

The restaurant Floor Supervisor is part of the management team that helps provide vision and leadership to the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure the best guest experience. The Floor Supervisor is  also responsible for playing a part in developing culture by inspiring and motivating our staff across all teams. 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Contribute daily in fostering a success-oriented, transparent, and accountable environment within the restaurant through communication, strong leadership, and culture development within ALL TEAMS.
Treat every teammate and guest fairly with the upmost courtesy, honesty, and respect.
•Participate in forming and evaluating policies pertaining to the restaurant’s operations which help shape a positive culture, high morale, and promote and inclusive environment.
•Jump into position and “get your hands dirty” when situations beckon.
•Accountable for directing the restaurant staff and assuring guests have a favorable experience when
visiting the restaurant.
•Train, develop and coach co-workers

•Weekends and evenings
•Ability to follow safety protocols
•Have the ability to inspire and motivate, accept feedback from others, plan and delegate work assignments, set expectations and monitor delegated activities.

•Must have a guest First mentality.
•Ability to foster teamwork and an innovative environment, where people and thoughts matter across all teams.
•Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand the entire shift unless performing administrative duties.  The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.  The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; shake, stir, and pour; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to sharp objects, slippery floors, smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold.  The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry product, seafood products, and produce items.  The employee is frequently required to wash hands.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
